// Our Mission

IP & Domain Tracker (ip-tracker.online) is a free, no-registration network intelligence tool built for sysadmins, developers, security researchers, and anyone who needs to understand where an IP address or domain lives on the internet.

We believe network diagnostics should be fast, transparent, and accessible without paywalls or API keys. Instead of bouncing between five different websites to check geolocation, ASN, DNS, SSL, and WHOIS data, you get everything in a single lookup.

Many IP lookup sites show only basic geolocation. IP & Domain Tracker goes further:

• Local MaxMind GeoLite2 database — geolocation and ASN data served from our own server, not a slow third-party redirect.
• Combined IP + domain profile — one search returns geolocation, ASN, ISP, DNS records, SSL certificate details, SPF/DMARC status, and RDAP/WHOIS registration data.
• RIPEstat integration — authoritative routing and prefix data from the RIPE NCC for European and global networks.
• Live DNS and TLS checks — real-time DNS resolution and direct TLS handshake to inspect SSL certificates, not cached snapshots.
• Educational guides — our networking guides explain how to read results, verify email security, find abuse contacts, and more.
• No account required — completely free, no sign-up, no API key, no credit card.

// Data Sources

We aggregate data from trusted, industry-standard sources:

• MaxMind GeoLite2 (local database, updated monthly)
• RIPE NCC RIPEstat API
• RDAP / IANA registration protocol
• Live DNS resolution (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, SOA)
• Direct TLS/SSL certificate inspection
• RestCountries API for country metadata

Lookup queries are cached in server memory for up to 30 minutes to improve performance. We do not store your search history on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

IP & Domain Tracker is built and maintained by Peter Heriban, an independent developer based in Slovakia. The project started as a personal tool for network troubleshooting and grew into a public resource used by visitors worldwide.
